Tata Housing Development Company conferred 'The Company of the Year’ at the GIREM Leadership Awards, 2010

Mumbai: Tata Housing Development Company (Tata Housing), one of the leading real estate companies in the country, with an intent to build and design high-performance real estate solutions, received the 'The Company of the Year' award from GIREM (urban planning and real estate leadership forum).

The evaluation process, developed by Triple Tree Research Team and verified by Ernst & Young, was based on three stages starting with due diligence and shortlisting followed by scrutiny and tabulation, wherein the jury assigned scores to each of the nominees on the predefined point system. The final selection was concluded basis the top score of the tabulated data.

Speaking on the occasion, Brotin Banerjee, managing director and chief executive officer, Tata Housing, said, “Receiving the award for 'The Company of the Year' is a matter of great pride for us. These awards are a testimony of our constant endeavor to create innovative and landmark projects across the country for our consumers. This award will further encourage us to continuously better our performance and create benchmark projects.”

The jury members consisting of industry experts, along with the able guidance of Ernst & Young — Awards Process as knowledge partner, selected the worthy winners of the GIREM Leadership Awards, 2010.

Tata Housing’s Aquila Heights was recently certified with a AAA+ rating by CIDC — CQRA and the company was as recognised as one of the top ten real estate developers in India by Construction World and as the Best Developer — Corporate Social Responsibility at the Cityscape Asia Awards.
